Yeah I miss Limewire, though I'm pretty sure I used Frostwire more xDI do have nostalgia for the Limewire days
I always forget about Frostwire, it always felt like the safer, less-insane Limewire.Yeah I miss Limewire, though I'm pretty sure I used Frostwire more xD
I do stil use an mp3 player at work because I don't want to drain my phone battery for when I need to use it for work.
That being said, I have been looking at the modded IPod Classics and really really want one, for nostalgia and the fact they are cool...
So yes I do still download mp3's

I use Amazon Music "Unlimited" now that I got a new PC. So I have an SSD put up with 20k mp3s on it. lol
Mainly the interface, and I've found cool stuff on it that was not on other services. Never tried Pandora. What made you choose amazon music over spotify or pandora?
I stopped for a long time, and then got into Spotify, etc. Recently though, I got back into it. I now have 14,000+ np3s. LOL
Does anyone else download music?
Me too, except on my old smartphone since it has a 64GB SD card,I download and play my music off of a flash drive in my car.
haha Nice. From where?Yep. Absolutely..

Same here but you can download spotify music for offline listening. Not anymore either. I caved to Spotify.
I guess since I pay for it it does that automatically?Same here but you can download spotify music for offline listening.
hahaha I remember that shit. I used "Kazaa Lite", which was not supposed to have spy and malware. Limewire was cool too. But I mainly used Napster.Mostly torrents.. but back in the day I used WinMX religiously..
I could never get Limewire to work.. no matter what I tried or did, it never worked..
And I stayed away from Kazaa because I knew other people who used it and their pcs were always full of spam and those stupid tool bars..
I haven't listened to those. Sounds like classic rock. heheI pretty much have everything Chino Moreno has done from the Deftones, Team Sleep, and Crosses.
WinMX sounds familiar. Was it a p2p system?Omg another WinMX vet? Awesome!
Did you know that the developer behind WinMX has a torrent client named Tixati?
And it is awesome.. I hope they release one for Android..
But yeah when I first downloaded it, I was like hmm.. this is familiar.. it reminds me of WinMX and when I checked the forums, I got my confirmation.. lol
Ironically enough it was the reason I started my forum.. I got tired of dealing with assholes and perverts in my WinMX chat room.. so I started a forum of my own..
And Kazaa Lite was much better than Kazaa but there were still a lot of fake files on there and it was risky to use..
I haven't listened to those. Sounds like classic rock. hehe
Yep. And as slow as it was on my Shorty dial up connection back in 2002 it was reliable.WinMX sounds familiar. Was it a p2p system?
My mp3 bitrates vary a lot. I also have a bunch of "FLAC" songs, which are apparently lossless, but huge file size. I have a 500GB SSD dedicated to just mp3s. With 24,000+ songs, I still have over 150GB free space and they load instantly.
