Paying for lawn care

The kid that mows my lawn won’t take cash apps. Going to the atm is almost as much work as mowing myself.

Have you ever paid someone to mow your lawn? Do your gardening?

How much did they charge you?

Nope. I always do it myself. Never occurred to me to pay someone. My grandparents did though, their lawn always looked perfect.

I don't have much grass, so it's not worth the hassle or the expense of hiring someone.

However, if someone can afford it and is busy, especially with a larger lawn, why not? It's better than letting it become an eyesore

We paid our daughter when she was a teenager so she could have spending money, but she was always busy, so it didn't happen often. We had a small lawn back then too and now we have an acre of land and a lawn tractor instead of push mower. If we had to pay, it would be about $75 per mow and that's costly. But someday we'll have to end up paying because taking care of the lawn tractor isn't always cheap, and we're getting older.

I've never owned a place. The only time that would've been feasible is at my grandparents house, and while I know they hired someone, I don't know the details 'cause I was in middle school when I lived with them and didn't talk about that stuff xD Otherwise, I've always lived in apartments pretty much.

Paying for it from someone else can be expensive. I'd rather just do it myself.

If I had a yard, I would absolutely pay for lawn care.
